2010 SEC Together We CAN Drive

Since 2007 the SEC has urged its member institutions to participate in a community outreach effort, a canned food and financial donation drive to support food banks and shelters in the local community. The initiative is the brainchild of the SEC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and is spearheaded by the SEC CHAMPS/Life Skills Directors.
The 2010 SEC Together We CAN Drive will take place from September 17-26, and each SEC school will be a part of this project.
Players and coaches will be at athletic events and community locations encouraging fans to support this league-wide project.
So if you're planning to attend a Tennessee soccer match, volleyball match or football game from September 17th to the 26th, remember to bring a donation to help your community.
Who: Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) members from each SEC institution.
What: League-wide canned food and financial donation drive.
When: September 17-26, 2010.
Where: Home athletics contests held on campus during the 10 days identified as well as designated campus and/or community locations.
