Boswell Named a CSC Academic All-District Honoree

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Sophomore guard Bishop Boswell of the University of Tennessee men's basketball team is a CSC Academic All-District selection, as announced Tuesday by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Boswell sports a stellar 3.71 GPA through his first year-and-a-half at Tennessee. He is majoring in communication studies.
The Charlotte, N.C., native made the Dean's List (3.50+ GPA) in each of the last two semesters, fall 2025 and spring 2025.
Boswell is averaging 6.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.2 steals per game on the year. He is shooting 39.4 percent from 3-point range.
Most recently, the 6-foot-4, 204-pounder posted a career-high-tying 13 points, a career-best nine assists and a career-best four made 3-pointers in an NCAA Tournament Round of 32 victory Sunday night against third-seeded, No. 9/8-ranked Virginia at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District recognition, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore and possess a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. In addition, individuals must have appeared in 90 percent of a team's games and/or started 66 percent of them.

Boswell and sixth-seeded, No. 23/25-ranked Tennessee (24-11, 11-7 SEC) continue action Friday at 10:10 p.m. ET against second-seeded, sixth-ranked Iowa State in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. The contest will be televised live on TNT, truTV and HBO Max from the United Center in Chicago.
