Soccer Central: #19 Vols at Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The 19th-ranked Tennessee soccer team closes the regular season Thursday with a game at Arkansas beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern (7 p.m. Central).

The Vols (13-3-1, 5-3-1 SEC) lost two games last week by 2-1 scores to Vanderbilt on the road and then-No. 20 Florida at home. Arkansas (9-8-1, 4-4-1) split matches last weekend, losing to Alabama 1-0 and defeating Kentucky 2-0.

Tennessee has secured a spot in next week's SEC Tournament. The Lady Vols are currently seeded fifth but have the same point totals as fourth-seeded Auburn and sixth-seeded Vanderbilt. The top 10 teams in the conference play in the tournament and the top six seeds earn a bye to the quarterfinals.

Thursday's game will be streamed as an SEC Network+ event, available on WatchESPN.

Anna Bialczak scored on a header off a free kick by Katie Cousins against Florida to tie the game 1-1 in the second half. The Gators scored the game winner in the 79th minute.
