KNOXVILLE, Tenn. –The Tennessee volleyball team will be back on the road as the Big Orange travels to Athens to face the Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at the Ramsey Center on the ESPNU.
The Vols (8-7, 1-5 SEC) are coming off a home loss to Alabama on Sunday, as they look to bounce back against Georgia (12-7, 2-4 SEC) with a nationally broadcasted match on ESPNU.
The match will also be available on the WatchESPN & ESPN App. Tennessee is currently 0-3 in nationally-televised matches and the Vols are looking for their first win on the raod.

ON THE ROAD
- Tennessee wil be looking for their first SEC road win of the season after starting the year 0-3 in road matches (Arkansas, No. 1 Florida and South Carolina).
- The Vols have played just four true road matches this year with three of those matches against SEC opponets.
- Invividual highs in road matches this year: kills (16 – Andreno), assists (25 – Hansen), digs (16 – Schumacher), blocks (8 – Treiber) and aces (2 – Treiber).
LAST WEEK
- The Lady Vols are coming off their first home loss of the season losing to Auburn 3-2 and then 3-2 to Alabama in just their third five-set match of the season.
- Tessa Grubbs led UT with 33 kills and averaged 3.30 k/s. She recorded a team high 19 kills in the match against Alabama.
- Erica Treiber tied a season high with 16 kills and she added seven blocks in the match against Auburn.
- Sedona Hansen recorded double-doubles in both matches last week. She had 16 assists and 27 digs against Auburn and then 30 assist and 15 digs against Alabama.
- Brooke Schumacher recoaded her first double-double of the season against Auburn with 18 digs and 10 assists.
- Madison Coulter recorded a double-double in her first career start for Tennessee with 11 kills and 12 digs agasint Alabama.
- Olivia Schwamberger saw her first start as a Lady Vol on Wednesday agasint Auburn and recarded a career-high eight kills against Alabama.

- Last Match: Tessa Grubbs had 12 kills and Bri Holmes added 10 as Tennessee defeated Georgia 3-0 for their first SEC volleyball win of the season at Thompson-Boling Arena.
FAMILY TIES
- Madison Coulter's grandfather, Kenny Coulter, also was a student-athlete at Tennessee. Kenny lettered three years as a guard on the Tennessee basketball team from 1956-59. The Maryville, Tennessee, native was the Vols' second-leading scorer as a senior in 1958-59, averaging 14.0 ppg. A former college basketball official, Kenny now works as an officials' observer at UT home games. Madison is averaging 0.71 kills per set and is hitting .138 with 32 kills on the season. Madison also got her first start at as a Lady Vol on Sunday against Alabama.
- Breana Jeter is the younger sister of former Lady Vol Kayla Jeter, who played for UT from 2008-14 as an outside hitter. Kayla finished her career at Tennessee with a .262 hitting percentage and 934 kills and 229 blocks. Breana has a current average of .216 and averages 2.00 kills per set with 66 kills on the season.
- Callie Williams is the daughter of a volleyball coach Jason Williams (assistant at Baylor) and a volleyball All-American in Cory Williams. Cory (Sivertson) Williams played volleyball at Baylor where she is the only volleyball player to be inducted into the Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame. Callie, a setter like her mom, has 254 assists this season averaging 4.62 assist per set.
