July 03, 2017 | Soccer
Tennessee redshirt junior Anna Bialczak has traveled to Poland to join the Polish national soccer team for a team trial.Â
Bialczak, the forward/midfielder from Lutherville, Maryland, is training alongside other U.S. and Canada-based players who are eligible to play for the Polish national team. During the 11-day camp, her group will compete in matches against three Polish professional teams: July 5 against Unifreeze Gorno, July 8 against Medykiem Konin and July 12 against UKS LKS Lódz.Â
Prior to her training in Poland, Bialczak earned international experience as a member of the U.S. U-18 Women's National Team in the 10 Nations Tournament in La Manga, Spain, in 2014.Â
As a sophomore for Tennessee last season, Bialczak was third on the team with five assists and fourth with nine points.Â
