KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee soccer team concludes the first home weekend of the season, hosting College of Charleston at 1 p.m. Sunday.
The Vols (3-0) defeated ETSUÂ 6-1 on Thursday. Charleston lost to Virginia Tech on the road 4-0 on Friday.Â
Tennessee is coming off a pair of road 1-0 victories at Navy and George Mason. As the Vols look to stretch their winning streak to four, here are some news and notes:Â

Goals For/Against: 24-2
Last Match: Tennessee defeated ETSU 3-2 last season. The Vols jumped out to a 2-0 lead with goals from Maya Neal and Danielle Marcano. Rylie O'Keefe added another goal to push Tennessee back up 3-1.

Note: Tennessee is playing two teams for the first time in program history this season: Charleston and Bucknell.

- Kids Day - First 250 kids receive a Tennessee fidget spinner

OPENING STATS
- Tennessee is off to a 2-0 start for the first time since 2012. With a 1-0 win at Navy, the Vols are now 14-6-1 in openers and have won 9 of its last 11 debuts.
- This year marks the sixth season for head coach Brian Pensky. He has led the Vols to three seasons of at least 10 wins, including an 11-9-1 mark last year. Tennessee was picked to finish seventh in the SEC coaches poll released.
- Five players made their debuts for Tennessee opening weekend, including redshirt freshman Erin Gilroy and sophomore Salera Jordan, who started both games at forward. Jordan transferred from Middle Tennessee.
- Junior goalkeeper Shae Yanez recorded back-to-back shutouts for the first time in her career.
BACK AT REGAL
- Tennessee is playing its first two of nine regular-season home matches at Regal Soccer Stadium.
- The Vols went 8-5-0 at Regal Stadium last season.
- Regal Soccer Stadium, opened in 2007 with a capacity of 3,000, now has a brand-new video board installed on the opposite site of the stands. Tennessee has added similar boards at the softball and baseball venues over the last year.

SEC WATCH LIST
- Tennessee junior Rylie O'Keefe and redshirt sophomores Katie Cousins and Maya Neal were named to the SEC preseason soccer watch list.
- O'Keefe, a midfielder from Littleton, Colorado, accumulated the most points last season among Tennessee's returners, totaling 19 points on five goals and nine assists while starting all 21 matches. She earned All-SEC and NSCAA all-region honors.
- Cousins, a midfielder from Forest, Virginia, is back on the field for the Vols after missing the 2016 season playing for the U.S. U-20 Women's National Team at the FIFA U-20 World Cup. As a freshman in 2015, she was on the SEC All-Freshman Team and played in all 18 games.
- A defender and multi-event track standout from Naperville, Illinois, Neal is another returning member of the All-SEC and NSCAA all-region honors list. She started 19 games as a freshman and also contributed three goals when playing forward.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Several Vols logged sky miles over the summer break. Redshirt senior Ariel Kupritz competed for the U.S. at the 20th World Maccabiah Games in Israel last month.
- The U.S. squad took silver to host Israel in the international Jewish sports competition. Kupritz, one of 20 members on the U.S. team, scored 10 goals during the tournament.
- Redshirt junior Anna Bialczak also took a trip overseas, joining the Polish national soccer squad for a team trial. During the 11-day camp, the Lutherville, Maryland, native trained alongside other U.S. and Canada-based players who are eligible for the Polish team.
- Last year, Katie Cousins helped the U.S. U-20 squad to a fourth-place finish in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Papua New Guinea. She was named the U.S. Soccer Player of the Match after recording the game-tying assist in the win over Ghana in the final group match.
