JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Tennessee finished up play at the University of North Florida Invitational, highlighted by Alejandro Moreno and Boruch Skierkier tallying 3-0 singles records for the weekend.
A transfer from Division II Valdosta State, Skierkier posted several impressive wins including a three-set nail-biter against Texas Tech's Felipe Pagnacco, where he went down in the first set but rallied back to win 5-7, 6-3, 10-5 to remain perfect. A Knoxville native, Moreno shined brightly in the tournament while not dropping a single set during the invitational.
