- Member of the 2010 USA Softball Women[apos]s Futures National Team, playing in all seven games, either as the starter in right field or as a pinch runner
- Hit .389 overall (7-of-18) while totaling three runs scored, two stolen bases and an RBI as her team finished second at the KFC World Cup of Softball 5 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
- Best performance was during a 2-1 upset of 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist Japan (7/25), going 3-for-3 at the dish and scoring the eventual winning tally after delivering a single to lead off the sixth inning
- During the bronze medal contest, Chavanne knocked in a run on a single through the left side of the infield during a six-run, seventh-inning explosion as the U.S. Futures trounced Canada, 9-3.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
- Excelled in track at Newbury Park, but did not play softball at the school
- Incredible speed stood out on the track as she earned four first-team All-Marmonte League and four all-county selections while winning the league[apos]s 100-meter title in four consecutive seasons with times of 12.55 (2006), 12.31 (2007), 12.25 (2008) and 11.90 (2009) and the 200-meter title four straight years with times of 26.43 (2006), 25.43 (2007), 24.90 (2008) and 24.54 (2009)
- All-CIF track and second team all-state as a senior in 2009
- Holds Newbury Park records for the 100-meter dash (11.90), 200-meter dash (24.54) and was part of the 4x100-meter relay (48.08)
- Her 100m time as a senior in 2009 rated her eighth in the state of California, while her 200m time was good enough for 12th
- Was a standout softball player with the high-profile Haning[apos]s OC Batbusters Gold squads
- In summers of 2008 and 2009, Chavanne was the lead-off hitter for the California state champion 18-U OC Batbusters
- During the summer of 2007, Chavanne set the all-time mark for batting average for a 16-U OC Batbusters player by hitting a stellar .583 while helping guide her team to a third place finish at the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) Gold National
