Bibee, a redshirt senior from Knoxville, is a four-time member of the SEC's Academic Honor Roll. Moffett, a senior from Knoxville, made the team for the second consecutive year, while Hopkins, a senior from Knoxville, earned a spot on the team for the first time in his career.
A total of 99 student-athletes were named to the 2002 SEC Baseball Academic Honor Roll announced Monday by SEC Commissioner Roy Kramer.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must: 1) have a 3.0 grade point average for either the past year (two semesters or three quarters) or a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for their career; 2) be a sophomore or higher in terms of academic classification; and 3) have 24 semester or 36 quarter hours toward a degree. The 2002 SEC Baseball Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2000-2001 academic calendar.
