Baseball Vols Announce Alumni Weekend

The Second Annual Food City All-Star Golf Tournament to benefit the Tennessee Baseball Endowment will be held Nov. 8 at Willow Creek Golf Club an be followed by an alumni baseball game at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
The day begins with a five-man scramble celebrity golf tournament at Willow Creek Golf Club (breakfast and lunch included), followed by dinner for two at Lindsey Nelson Stadium and admission to the UT Alumni baseball game and homerun-hitting contest.
Major leaguers Mike DiFelice, Bubba Trammell, Mike Lincoln and Greg McMichael will be in attendance, along with a number of minor league players, including Chris Burke.
At Willow Creek, a blind drawing will take place to match a Vol celebrity with each golf foursome. The five-man teams will tee off with a shotgun start beginning at 8:30 a.m. In addition to the golf, each participant will receive a gift package and complimentary beverages and snacks. Lunch will be provided following play. Awards for the longest drive, closest-to-the-pin, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be given during lunch.
Friday evening includes a night at to Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Each participant and a guest will enjoy dinner on the field, which includes admission to the UT Alumni baseball game and the thrilling home run contest.
Registration fee is $250 per player, which includes: breakfast, golf, lunch, dinner, admission to the UT Alumni home run hitting contest and baseball game. To obtain a registration form, please call 865-974-9118 or log on to www.utsports.com.
