BASEBALL VOLS DONATE TOYS TO MISSION OF HOPE

The Tennessee baseball team purchased and donated toys to the Mission of Hope Wednesday, continuing the team's outstanding commitment to service projects in the East Tennessee area. This is the third year in a row that the baseball team has donated to the Mission of Hope during the holiday season.
The baseball team has been named Tennessee's Men's Community Service Team of the Year each of the last three years for having the highest percentage of team members attend the highest number of events of all UT's men's athletic teams.
Some of the baseball team's other charitable projects this semester include numerous visits to area hospitals, a youth baseball clinic at Knoxville's Lakeshore Park, Thanksgiving food donations to Knoxville's Manna House and assistance with events and trick-or-treating at Safety City during Halloween.
